I.A.T.S.E. 52 Centennial Gala
Sheraton New York Times Square
October, 2024
Role: Talent Operations
Venue: Sheraton New York Times Square, NYC
Format: Centennial gala with stage program and live music
Over 1,000 members and film industry guests celebrated Local 52’s 100th anniversary at the Sheraton New York Times Square, produced by Good Sense & Co. I supported program control across talent operations so principals, speeches, and transitions hit their marks in a high-traffic venue.
What I owned and delivered
• Built the arrivals and call-time grid for speakers, honorees, and VIPs, aligned with stage management, FOH, and security.
• Ran backstage flow from credentialing to stage release, issued on-standby and on-deck calls, confirmed mic handoffs, and cleared principals into position.
• Managed green rooms and VIP hospitality with room layouts, signage, presets, and readiness checks tied to the program sequence.
• Coordinated ground transport with venue ingress to avoid lobby choke points and protect the program start.
• Maintained real-time comms with the show caller and venue teams to adjust holds, recover timing after changes, and keep the sequence intact.
• Executed post-stage resets with FOH and security so principals returned to placement quickly and service could continue on schedule.
Outcomes
Speakers hit cues without misses. Readiness calls stayed accurate. Lobby and backstage lanes remained clear, which preserved program pacing and a smooth handoff into the live-music reception.
