Off-White Spring-Summer 2025

New York Fashion Week

September 2024

Role: Backstage Operations and Model Coordination

Locations: Hotel staging near the venue; Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 2

Format: Live runway presentation

I supported BUREAU BETAK backstage operations for Off-White’s Spring 2025 “Duty Free” runway at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 2. The show transformed the waterfront basketball courts into an open-air runway with a high-profile front row, which required disciplined timing and tight traffic control.

Key contributions

• Ran model lineup and pacing from final fittings through show time. Aligned look cards, accessories checks, and readiness calls with the running order.

• Coordinated hair, makeup, and dressing workflows at nearby hotels so models could be prepped off-site and released to transport on schedule.

• Built the shuttle plan between hotels and the pier. Managed bus call times, manifests, seat counts, and release intervals so groups arrived safely and on time without clogging venue ingress.

• Kept choke points clear by mapping traffic lanes from quick-change to runway entry and routing VIP and press movement away from model flow.

• Maintained real-time comms with the show caller and stage management to hit queue releases, recover timing after delays, and protect sightlines.

• Executed garment and accessory presets at load-in, maintained rack order, and set contingency pulls for last-minute swaps.

Outcomes

Buses cycled on time and delivered models to the pier without missed calls. Lineup and runway pacing held cleanly. No missed looks. No bottlenecks at hotel release, venue ingress, or runway entry. Readiness calls stayed accurate, which preserved the order of show.
